Birth Anniversary of Lord Ganesh is celebrated worldwide for 10days
starting from Chaturthi to Anantha Chaturdashi.
Lord Sri Ganesh is popularly known with different
names with relation to the qualities of Lord Ganesha - Vinayaka,
Vignesha, Vakratunda, Gajanana, Lambodara, Vighna Hartha.
Lord Ganesha is worshipped as the god of new beginnings &
remover of obstacles. He is primarily worshipped at the beginning of every
vratham, pooja & festive occasions. He is the root god of Mooladhara Chakra
- which resides at the tail bone (base of the spine).
Ancient Ayurvedic Scholars popularised Ayurveda medicines blending 21
leaves from which Lord Ganesha is worshipped. 21 leaves play major role in day
to day ayurveda practices too. The leaves such as Bhringraj – stimulates Hair
Growth; Tulasi boosts immunity &
